
Peer LGBTQ+ Youth Coordinator
Meera Sharma (she/her) serves as a Peer LGBTQ+ Youth Coordinator, where she focuses on building protective factors and reducing risk factors for LGBTQ+ Youth on the Island. Her work focuses on creating and promoting pro-social spaces and ensuring that LGBTQ+ Youth are meaningfully included in organizational initiatives. She is originally from Atlanta, where she attended Georgia State University and studied Film & Media and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In addition to her role at Partnerships, Meera has also worked at various nonprofits and community organizations, such as at TED, and currently works Part-Time at Right To Be.
